Beginning of true love

Our story

Floral divider

Everything started on February 2, 2016, with a simple message on a social app. What began as casual chats quickly turned into long conversations, late-night calls, and endless laughter. But let’s be real—I made the first move. 😏 I just said, "Holdap ni! Ehatag imong number." And luckily, she did!"

From there, we kept talking—texts, calls, and those random late-night convos that made it feel like we’d known each other forever. Eventually, the day came when we finally met in person.

Our first meeting (and technically our first date) happened at the Roxas Night Market. We both had funny expectations—I thought she’d be tall, she thought I’d be tall too! 😂 Pagkita namo, nakuratan mi—pirting gamaya diay namo duha! But that just made the moment even more perfect. We spent the night eating street food, laughing over small things, and just feeling that light, happy connection that neither of us wanted to end.

It wasn’t a fancy date—it was simple, raw, and real. That night was all about being ourselves, no pressure, no pretenses—just pure connection.

Later on, during one of our next dates, something even deeper happened. We didn’t just share food or laughs—we shared pieces of ourselves. We talked about our dreams, our ambitions, and the lives we hoped to build someday. Looking back, that was the moment I realized: this wasn’t just any relationship. This was the start of something real.

A few months later, in July 2016, we made a big decision—to move in together. It wasn’t just about taking the next step in our relationship; it was also a practical decision. Times were tough, and this helped us save on rent. It wasn’t always easy, but we knew that as long as we had each other, we could make things work. Living together only made us stronger—not just as a couple, but as best friends navigating life side by side.

Then, on March 1, 2020, our lives changed forever. Before we even said our vows, we received the greatest blessing—our baby. The first time we held them, we knew life would never be the same. Every laugh, every milestone, and even the sleepless nights made our bond even stronger.

Fast forward to Valentine’s Day 2022. It wasn’t just about flowers and chocolates that year—it was the day we took the next big step. After everything we had been through, there was no doubt in my mind that this was forever. So, I popped the question. And without hesitation, she said YES.

Now, here we are, preparing for our wedding day, ready to celebrate our love with the people who mean the most to us. This is just the beginning of a lifetime of memories, and we can’t wait to share this next chapter with all of you.
